Peach Dumplings

  • 1 can sliced peaches
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits

Directions

    Cook peaches over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until tender (soft).

    Add cinnamon, butter, vanilla, sugar and nutmeg. Mix well for another 5 minutes.

    Pinch pieces off of refrigerated biscuit dough and drop into mixture.

    Let simmer until biscuit dough (dumplings) are firm and fat, approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.

    Serve hot.
