- 1 c. sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. rich milk
- 1/3 c. peanut butter
- powdered sugar
- 3 egg whites
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
Directions

1Combine 1 cup sugar and flour; add a little milk to make a paste.

2Add rest of milk, egg yolks and salt.

3Stir while cooking until thick.

4Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.

5Mix peanut butter with enough powdered sugar to make a crumbly mixture.

6Put in bottom of baked pie shell.

7(Save a little to sprinkle on meringue.)

8Pour filling in crust; top with meringue, made by beating egg whites and gradually adding 6 tablespoons sugar, beating until stiff.

9Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top and brown in a 400° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
