  • 1 1/2 c. quick or old-fashioned oats
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter (DO NOT USE MARGARINE)
  • 1 1/2 c. or 1 (7oz.) bag pecan halves
  • 1 c. dark brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/3 c. heavy cream
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    In a large bowl, combine oats, flour, 1 cup dark brown sugar. Cut 1/2 cup butter into mixture till coarse and crumbly.

    Press into a 13x9-inch baking pan.

    Place pecans evenly over crumb mixture.
