- 4 3/8 c. flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 4 Tbsp. wine
- 1 qt. chopped nuts
- 1 lb. cherries (candied)
- 1 lb. pineapple (candied)
Directions

1Mix together and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

2Bake at 250° for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

3Cool in pans.

4Makes one angel food cake pan and one loaf or 3 loaf pans.
