  • 1 c. pecans
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter

Directions

    Arrange pecans in bottom of pie shell. Mix eggs, sugar, syrup, vanilla and salt. Let stand at least 5 minutes. Add melted butter. Slowly pour mixture over pecans in shell. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 375°.
