  • 5 lb. cabbage, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 2 red and 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. white vinegar
  • 1 c. water

    Put salt over cabbage.

    Mix.

    Press down.

    Let set 1 hour, then drain.

    Boil sugar, vinegar and water for 3 minutes.

    Cool, then mix with other ingredients.

    Will keep 10 weeks in fridge.
