Pineapple Sheet Cake

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. flour, sifted, then measured
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients in mixing bowl and beat with electric mixer 1 minute at Hi speed.

    Sift flour, salt and soda over this and beat 1/2 minute at medium speed.

    Stir in pineapple and blend thoroughly but quickly.

    Spread evenly in buttered/floured 9x13-inch pan and bake in pre-heated oven at 350° for 25-30 minutes.
