  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 12 dried figs
  • Ice cream

    In 2-quart saucepan, heat wine, brown sugar, and cinnamon stick to boiling on high.

    Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 15 minutes or until tender.

    Transfer figs to bowl.

    Increase heat to medium-high; cook until syrupy.

    Discard cinnamon.
