  • 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1/4 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Separate eggs.

    Cream butter or margarine and sugar together. Add egg yolks, one at a time.

    Sift flour, salt and baking soda together.

    Add dry ingredients alternating with the milk and extracts.

    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Bake in greased tube pan at 350° for 50 minutes.
