- 2 sticks butter
- 1 stick margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. lemon or almond flavoring
Directions

1Blend butter and sugar until fluffy.

2Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and lemon or almond flavoring.

3Then add flour alternately with milk.

4Pour batter into greased and floured tube pan.

5Put in cold oven and turn heat to 325°.

6Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until done.
