  • 4 slices bread (any kind)
  • 1 lb. bulk pork sausage
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 eggs
  • 9 slices bread, cubed
  • 2 1/2 lb. bulk sausage, sauteed and drained
  • 10 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 8 eggs
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Place half of bread cubes in bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Put half of sausage on top, followed by half of cheese.

    Repeat layers.

    Beat eggs with milk, mustard, salt and pepper.

    Pour mixture over layers in pan.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove cover and bake in 350° oven for 1 hour.
