Quick Shrimp With Pasta

Ingredients
- 8 ounces linguine or 8 ounces fettuccine, uncooked
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb medium raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 -4 garlic cloves, minced
- 34 cup reduced-fat sour cream
- 14 teaspoon salt (I omit this)
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 12 cup parmesan cheese or 12 cup romano cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon green onion, sliced
Directions

1cook pasta according to package directions, drain.

2Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

3When butter is melted, add shrimp and cook until opaque in the center, about 4 minutes.

4stirring frequently.

5add garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stir in sour cream, salt and pepper until well blended.

6remove pan from heat and add cheese, mix gently.

7serve over pasta with additional cheese.

8sprinkle green onions on top.
