- 1 cup unsweetened cereal
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- 2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 eggs
- 1/4 cup oil
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400F.

2Grease 12 muffin cups.

3Mix cereal and milk.

4Let stand a few minutes until most of the milk is absorbed.

5Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into a medium-sized bowl.

6Stir to mix well.

7Add raisins and nuts; toss to mix.

8Add egg and oil to soaked cereal and beat well with fork.

9Pour into flour mixture and stir only until dry ingredients are moistened.

10Batter will be lumpy.

11Drop batter into prepared pans, filling each cup 2/3 full.

12Bake 15 minutes, or until browned.

13Remove from pan and serve immediately.
