- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/3 c. vegetable shortening
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 to 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 1/2 c. fresh raspberry
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Sift flour, baking powder and soda together.

3Set aside.

4Blend shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat well.

5Add flour mixture and bananas and mix until smooth.

6Carefully fold in raspberries.

7Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour.

8Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then invert on rack.

9Slice and serve with cream cheese.
