Raspberry-Rose Geranium Liqueur

  • 2 pt. raspberries
  • 1 c. rose geranium leaves
  • 4 c. vodka
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Combine berries, geranium leaves, vodka and wine in a large jar with a screw-top lid.

    Place in a cool, dark place for 1 month to steep.

    Crush berries with a wooden spoon and steep for another 4 days.

    Strain the liquid, pressing as much juice from the berries as possible.

    Filter liquid through a coffee filter.

    Boil sugar and water together until sugar is dissolved.

    Cool. Gradually stir into the liqueur, tasting for desired sweetness. Pour into a clean, decorative bottle and age 3 weeks before using.
