- 12 slices rye bread
- 1/2 c. Russian dressing
- 1/2 lb. corned beef, thinly sliced
- 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
- 3/4 c. drained sauerkraut
- mustard
- butter
Directions

1Spread Russian dressing on six slices of rye bread.

2Divide corned beef evenly among slices, then the Swiss cheese.

3Top each with about 2 tablespoons of sauerkraut.

4Spread remaining bread slices with mustard, if desired, and put this slice, mustard side down, on sandwiches.

5Lightly butter both sides of sandwiches and grill slowly on each side until browned and cheese is melted. Serve with dill pickles.
