  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine first 5 ingredients in bowl and mix well.

    Beat in eggs one at a time.

    Add milk and mix well.

    Stir in pecans and vanilla.

    Mix well and pour in a 9-inch pie shell.

    Cook in a 400° oven for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° and cook an additional 35 to 40 minutes or until filling is puffed in center and is well browned.
