- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- cut celery
- fresh onions
- washed whole potatoes
- washed carrots
Directions

1Melt butter in small bowl, season with thyme, garlic and seasoned salt.

3Season body cavity with butter mixture.

4Place in roasting pan.

5Brown in 400° oven for 30 to 45 minutes, uncovered.

6Stuff body cavity with cut celery sticks and onions.

7Add quartered potatoes and carrots to pan.

8Add 1 to 2 cups of water.

9Cover; roast in oven at 350° for 1 hour.

10Remove chicken and vegetables.

11Thicken broth for gravy.
