- 6 (1/2-inch thick) loin pork chops
- 1 tsp. oil
- fresh ground pepper
- 2 shallots
- 1/2 c. dry vermouth
- 1 tsp. dry rosemary
Directions

1Trim fat from chops.

2Add oil to skillet.

3Add chops and brown well on both sides.

4Sprinkle with pepper.

5Add shallots, vermouth and rosemary.

6Over high heat, heat to boiling.

7Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.

8Serve with brown rice and carrots.
