Ingredients
- 3 3/4 cups rye flour
- 3 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 4 1/2 teaspoons yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup Earth Balance
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
Directions

1Combine the flours and set aside.

2Combine cocoa, salt, sugar and three cups of the flour mixture and set aside.

3Proof the yeast in the 1/2 cup warm water. Place all wet ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until the Earth Balance is nearly dissolved. Add dissolved yeast and mix well.

4Add to the dry mixture and combine well. Add the flour mixture on cup at a time until dough is easy to knead. Knead for 10 minutes and then place in a covered bowl to rise for an hour. Form into two loaves and allow to rise for another 45 minutes or so. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes to an hour.
