- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. Gold Medal flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Directions

1Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.

2Measure flour by dipping method.

3Stir flour and salt together; blend in.

4Mix in nuts.

5Chill dough.

6Heat oven to 400°.

7Roll dough in 1-inch balls.

8Place on ungreased baking sheet.

9Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set but not brown.

10While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.

11Cool.

12Roll in sugar again.

13Makes about 4 dozen 1-inch cookies.
