- 600 ml milk
- 2 teaspoons saffron
- 450 ml evaporated milk
- 6 tablespoons caster sugar
Directions

1Place all the ingredients in a pan and heat gently, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

2Remove from the heat and allow to cool.

3Pour into individual moulds and freeze for at least 2 hours until solid.

4Turn the kulfi out onto serving plates and top each with a sliver of gold or silver leaf; serve immediately.
