  • 2 tsp. regular salt
  • 1 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 2 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 2 1/2 tsp. ground peppercorns
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper (cayenne)

    Knead for 10 minutes.

    Store in refrigerator for 24 hours.

    Knead 10 minutes again.

    Store in refrigerator for 24 hours.

    Shape in 5 or 6 loaves and place on broiler pan.

    Bake 4 hours at 150°; turn loaves over and bake 4 hours more.

    Will keep up to 3 to 4 weeks in refrigerator.
