  • 1 can red salmon
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • salmon liquid plus milk to make 1 c.
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 egg, beaten

    Drain canned salmon, saving liquid.

    Remove bones and make white sauce by blending butter or margarine over low heat with flour and liquid.

    Add egg, salmon and seasonings.

    Butter 2 slices of bread and cube.

    Put salmon in a greased pan; add cubed bread and bake 1 hour at 350°.
