  • 3 large tomatoes, cored and halved
  • 12 cup red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 jalapenos, seeded and minced
  • 3 teaspoons cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper

    Squeeze out the seeds and place them cut side down and roast under a broiler till skins brown/blacken.
