  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb. 12 oz. can (3 1/2 c.) tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 lb. pepperoni, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced or 1 (3 oz.) can
  • 12 oz. mostaccioli
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    In a large skillet, brown ground beef; remove and reserve.

    In same skillet, cook onion and garlic until crisp-tender.

    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste and salt.

    Add reserved beef, pepperoni and mushrooms.

    Simmer, covered, 1 hour.
