- 150 grams Sashimi-grade boiled octopus
- 1 tbsp or more Mentsuyu
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 for garnishing Scallions
Directions

1Rinse and rough chop the octopus.

2Marinate first in mentsuyu, then add sesame oil.

3Once it is well mixed, sprinkle on finely sliced scallions and dig in!

4It's good as is, but also delicious when left to marinate for about 30 minutes.

5I also recommend trying this recipe with baby octopus (not ocellated octopus).

6If they're raw, boil them first.

7In place of scallions, garnish with julienned shiso leaves.

8Using firefly squid in place of octopus was also tasty.

9Note: If left sitting too long, the salt will toughen the octopus.
