- 3 whole chicken breasts, halved and salted
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drain and save juice
- 1 pkg. chicken gravy mix
- 1/2 c. cooking sherry
- 1 c. sour cream
- rice
Directions

1Lightly sprinkle chicken with seasoned salt; brown in butter in heavy skillet.

2Transfer to baking dish; pour mushroom liquid and sherry over chicken.

3Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour in 350° oven.

4Remove from oven and transfer chicken to serving dish.

5Measure pan drippings back into skillet and add water if necessary to make 1 1/4 cups liquid.

6Blend chicken gravy mix into liquid; bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

7Blend in sour cream and mushrooms; when sauce is smooth and hot, pour over chicken breasts.

8Serve with hot rice.
