- 1 lb. medium size fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- paprika
Directions

1Melt butter in large saucepan.

2Add mushrooms, onion and garlic and saut 5 minutes or until tender.

3Add flour to sauce, stirring until mixture is smooth.

4Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly 1 minute.

5Gradually add chicken broth and cook, stirring constantly until mixture is thickened and bubbly.

6Add shrimp.

7Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes, stirring often.

8Stir in wine, whipping cream and parsley.

9Cook until thoroughly heated, stirring often.

10Can be served as a bisque or over angel hair pasta.
