Ingredients

  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 envelopes unflavored Knox gelatine
  • 9 oz. cream cheese, cut up in small cubes
  • 1 c. finely chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 3 (4 1/2 oz.) cans tiny deveined shrimp
  • 8 oz. jar mayonnaise
  • 2 to 3 shakes Tabasco sauce

Directions

    Soften gelatine in water.

    Make soup according to can directions, add gelatine to soup and cool.

    In blender, combine 1/2 mixture with cheese, mayonnaise, then add the rest.

    Blend again.

    Pour liquid off shrimp.

    Add to soup mixture.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Pour into tube pan, Bundt pan or other mold.

    Refrigerate at least 8 hours.

    Serve with unsalted crackers (Carr's).
