- 2 envelopes fast rising yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside.

2Mix 3 cups of flour with salt and sugar; set aside.

3Add sour cream to melted butter in a small saucepan.

4Heat until mixture feels very warm to touch. Pour into a large bowl.

5Add yeast and flour mixture.

6Mix well. Add eggs and beat with a wooden spoon.

7Add remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, to make soft dough.

8Scrape dough down from sides and let rise until doubled.

9Punch down.

10Divide dough in half. Roll out each half to 1/2-inch thickness.

11Cut into 2-inch rounds. Place on greased baking sheet.

12Cover.

13Let rise until doubled (about 30 minutes).

14Preheat oven to 375°.

15Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
