- 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped (optional)
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1/2 c. tomato juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- spaghetti
Directions

1Mix thoroughly first 8 ingredients.

2Shape into balls.

3Fry in melted butter (open pan); turn over with care.

4Remove from pan. Add 1 large can of tomato sauce and 1/2 cup water.

5Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6Cook spaghetti in salted, boiling water 12 minutes.

7Drain.

8Add meat balls to spaghetti sauce and pour over spaghetti.

9Good reheated.
