- 4 cube steaks
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 (5 oz.) can Spanish rice
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. parsley flakes
Directions

1Coat steaks with flour.

2In skillet, brown steaks in oil. Transfer to lightly greased 9-inch square baking dish.

3Season with salt and pepper; set aside.

4Saute onion slices; add Spanish rice and sugar and mix well.

5Spoon rice mixture over steaks; sprinkle with parsley flakes.
