- 6 chicken breasts, skinned and deboned
- 1/2 lb. good quality dry beef, torn into pieces
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Grease casserole with butter.

2Line bottom with dry beef. Place chicken slices on top.

3Mix soup and sour cream together; add fresh mushrooms.

4Spread on top of chicken.

5Cover dish with foil; place in refrigerator overnight to saute.

6Before baking, let casserole set at room temperature for 1/2 hour.

7Bake, covered, at 250° to 275° for 3 hours.

8Check while baking. Uncover last 30 to 45 minutes to brown.

9Good served with rice or buttered noodles.
