- 1 (29 oz.) can pears, cut in chunks
- 1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches
- 1 1/2 c. seedless raisins
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
Directions

1Drain peaches and pears; reserve 1 1/2 cups syrup.

2In 4-quart saucepan, heat raisins, water, brown sugar, salt, cornstarch, spices and fruit syrup to boiling, stirring often.

3Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes.

4Add pears and peaches (heat thoroughly).

5Serve warm.

6Serve as an accompaniment to meat. This is good at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
