Spinach Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. spinach
  • 1 whole red onion
  • 1 small pkg. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 lb. crisp bacon, crumbled
  • 1 can drained mandarin oranges
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 c. tomato catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Tear spinach into bite size pieces.

    Top with onion rings, mushrooms, bacon and mandarin oranges.

    Set aside.

    Heat sugar, oil, vinegar, catsup and Worcestershire sauce over low heat until sugar melts, but don't cook.

    Pour dressing over spinach mixture just before serving.
