  • 1 lb. split peas
  • 1/2 to 3/4 pot water (Dutch oven pot)
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Nature's Seasoning by Morton
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 6 to 10 carrots, diced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ham hocks

Directions

    Combine all ingredients and cook on medium until it boils, then cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.

    Add water if necessary to desired thickness.
