  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1/2 lb. almonds, ground
  • 135 gr. sugar
  • 330 gr. flour
  • 1 pack (1 tsp.) vanilla
  • jam
  • granulated sugar

Directions

    Mix margarine, almonds, sugar, flour and vanilla together. Roll out thin, using star cookie cutter to cut them out.

    Bake at 350° until light brown only.
  3. 3
    Cool, then place a little jam on one side of star and put second star on top, like a sandwich.

    Then roll the sandwich star cookie in granulated sugar.
  5. 5
    Store in airtight container.
