- 1 1/2 lb. family steak
- 1 c. celery stalk + leaves
- 1/2 c. carrots
- 1/4 c. ground peppers
- onion
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Trim all fat off meat and cut in small pieces.

2Brown and simmer in 1 cup water for 1/2 hour.

3Put all vegetables in, cover with water and simmer 1 hour.

4Add tomato sauce; cook a minute. Thicken gravy and put over potatoes, rice or noodles.
