Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. family steak
  • 1 c. celery stalk + leaves
  • 1/2 c. carrots
  • 1/4 c. ground peppers
  • onion
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Trim all fat off meat and cut in small pieces.

    Brown and simmer in 1 cup water for 1/2 hour.

    Put all vegetables in, cover with water and simmer 1 hour.

    Add tomato sauce; cook a minute. Thicken gravy and put over potatoes, rice or noodles.
