- 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 oz. strawberry gelatin
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 qt. fresh strawberries
Directions

1Clean and hull strawberries.

2In medium saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch; add water and lemon juice.

3Over high heat, bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat; cook and stir until slightly thickened and clear, 4 to 5 minutes.

5Add gelatin; stir until dissolved.

6Cool to room temperature.

7Stir in strawberries.

8Turn into prepared pastry shell.

9Chill 4 to 6 hours or until set. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.

10Refrigerate leftovers.
