  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 1/2 c. beef broth
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. chopped mint leaves

Directions

    Mix beef, 1 egg, onion, rice, parsley, mint, oil and 1/4 cup water.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Soak fresh leaves in warm water 5 minutes.

    If canned leaves are used, rinse in warm water.
