Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 3 to 5 green bell peppers
- 1/2 c. chopped onion (optional)
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 c. rice (instant)
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 lb. hamburger
- salt (to taste)
Directions

1Prepare rice. Set aside.

2Cut peppers lengthwise into halves. Clean out seeds and pulp.

3Cook in boiling water 5 minutes. Cook hamburger and onion until slightly brown.

4Drain off oil. Add rice and half can tomato soup.

5Mix well.

6Pack mixture firmly into pepper halves.

7Place in foil lined baking pan.

8Bring to a boil 1/3 cup vinegar, 1/2 can soup and 1/3 cup brown sugar.

9Pour over peppers.

10Cover tightly with foil.

11Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
