Stuffed Peppers

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1/3 c. rice, cooked and drained
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • Lawry's seasoned salt
  • garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 4 large peppers, halved

    Preheat oven to 275°.

    Brown and drain hamburger and onions. Prepare rice.

    Combine all ingredients, but green peppers.
  4. 4
    Boil salted water for peppers.

    Boil peppers for 5 minutes. Immediately dunk them in cold water.

    Place peppers in a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.

    Pour other mixture over them.

    Bake 20 minutes.
