Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. quick or old fashioned oats (uncooked)
  • 1/2 c. instant nonfat dry milk
  • 1/2 c. sunflower nuts
  • 1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. wheat germ or unprocessed bran
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. raisins (if desired)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, except raisins; mix well.

    Cook in ungreased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown; stir occasionally.

    Stir in raisins.

    Cool and store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

    Makes approximately 6 1/4 cups.
