  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar (or sugar substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 egg yolks

Directions

    Bring 2 cups heavy whipping cream to a gentle boil. Stir in 1/3 cup of sugar until disolved. Remove from heat.

    In a seperate bowl, wisk egg yokes until blended.

    Slowly pour cream mixture into egg yokes and wisk until blended.

    Allow mixture to cool to room temperature.

    When the mixture has cooled, transfer to a freezer safe container and freeze.
