  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • salt
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, and beat after each addition.

    Combine baking powder, salt and flour.

    Fold into batter.

    Add vanilla.

    Roll out 1/2-inch thick using as little flour as possible.

    Cut into shapes.

    Bake on cookie sheet at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
