- 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. soft margarine
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. quick oats
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- chocolate or butterscotch chips (optional)
Directions

1Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar; set aside.

2Mix together white and brown sugars, margarine, oil, egg, vanilla, Rice Krispies, coconut and oats.

3Blend in flour mixture.

4Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets.

5Bake at 325° for 10 to 12 minutes.

6Let cool on pan a few minutes before removing.
