- 2 large potatoes, peeled
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 recipe pastry
Directions

1Cut up potatoes, cook in boiling water 20 minutes.

2Drain and mash.

3Brown pork and drain off fat.

4Stir in next 6 ingredients, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper.

5Cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring often.

6Discard bay leaf, stir in potatoes and let cool. Roll half the pastry into a 12 inch circle.

7Line a 9 inch pie pan. Trim even with rim, fill with meat mixture.

8Roll remaining dough, slit.

9Place on top of filling and trim to 1/2 inch beyond rim. Seal, flute and bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
