- 2 c. Sun-Maid raisins
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. margarine or butter, softened
- 1 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked Quaker oats (quick or old fashioned)
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- shake of salt
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.

3In medium saucepan, combine the first 4 ingredients.

4Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to bubble.

5Remove from heat; cool slightly.
