- 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 1/3 c. shredded coconut
Directions

1Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

2Add water; sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan.

3Arrange nuts and coconut in sugar mixture.

4Prepare cake mix as directed on package.

5Pour cake batter over mixture in pan.

6Bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes and turn upside down onto cookie sheet.

7Serve with whipped cream.
